Yes, it was true - the 'fridge was nearly empty last night, but I managed to eat well! Amazing how a few ingredients can make such a great meal. Add a little fresh basil, lemon and some Grana Padana cheese and it was sublime.

Aren't they both adorable? Neighbors from the old 'hood - both he and his wife took in baby squirrels and raised them until they were ready to be released into the wild.
