Earth Day 2010

My roots are in the Earth.
My roots are of the Earth.
I see Her Beauty
Reflected all around me.
I dance Her spiral dance with Her
through the starry fields
She calls home.

Who needs a space ship
when we're already on one
having the ride of our lives?

Happy Earth Day, everyone!

It's a beautiful day here in NJ - we had a good thunderstorm last evening which seems to have cleansed everything!  Kylie and will be headed out for a nice meandering walk later on to revel in the beauty of this Spring season, allergies be damned!

Tune into the beauteous Earth, our home, our Madre and take in Her Love to nourish your body, mind and soul.  You need nothing more than what She gives so freely and with so much unconditional Love.

UPDATE:  Since it is Earth Day, I am reminded of the Charge of the Star Goddess  which can be found here.

I loved that thunderstorm yesterday afternoon and evening. I'm a storm hound.

Gonna get outside today and just soak in the sun for a bit as well.

Happy Earth Day!

That makes 2 of us, inanna! I think we're in for more of the same today - it's definitely getting cooler and darker outside.

My dog hates it, though - she gets so nervous with both the lightning and thunder. How do your dogs do with the storms?

It's still gorgeous, blue skies and warm here. No forecast for showers or storms either, but we'll see....I could be a forecaster for as accurate as they seem to be.

As for my doggies....My female Brandy is fine with storms but my big ol' goofy stupid Jerry Garcia gets so scared that he plops all of his 65 pounds in my lap.

Yes, I'm sure you would be a much better weather witch that some of those forecasters! In a matter of minutes, the Sun came out and it's not dark. La Madre keeping us on our toes!

65 lbs of dog in your lap is funny! xoxo
