It is cold and dreary in New Jersey today. When Kylie and I went for our walk this morning, it was only 48! I wonder if the Winter will be another bittterly cold one like last year. After spending so many years in California, I'm still adjusting to these distinct seasons. It's interesting - the seasons are predictable, but the weather within each season is anything but!
The image is of a wild aster taken a few days ago when it was sunny. The center of the flower is my way of imagining the Sun shining through the dreariness. And, of course, the Faery just makes me smile....
